Daya Summer Series: Yoga & Hike with Vita Slava

Join us for a community daytrip full of movement, nature, and connection! We're heading to beautiful Cold Spring, NY for a rejuvenating blend of yoga, hiking, and community activities.
What to expect:

• Scenic Train Ride (or meet us there)

This event is open to all levels and completely donation-based. Come connect with nature, give back, and flow together under the summer sky!
What to pack:
Full water bottle
Hat
Sunnies
Bug spray
Spf
Blanket or towel (for yoga and chill time)
Swimsuit (optional - for possible dip in the water and time in the sun)
Lunch (we will also likely be able to purchase something to grab with us in Grand Central or Cold Spring - time permitting)
Snacks
Trash bag or plastic bag (to collect plastic on the way hiking down)
Itinerary:
7:30 AM - meet at Daya Bushwick (if you’re riding the train with us) PLEASE DON’T BE LATE! We will depart from Daya at 7:45 am sharp at the very latest!
Alternately meet us at Cold Spring station at 10:15 am if you’re driving up
8:50 AM - Taking Metro North from Grand Central (pay for your own fare) Please note that next train is in an hour and unfortunately we won’t be able to wait for the late comers.
10:15 AM - arriving to Cold Spring NY
10:30-11:00 AM - Yoga by the water
11 AM-12 PM - check out Cold Spring - cute little town, and the shops on the way to the trailhead
12-5 PM - approximate hiking time including stops for pictures and lunch break with the view from the top of the mountain and forest cleanup
5-6.30 PM - explore Little Stony Point and chill at the beach (swim at your own risk)
7:20 PM - take a train back to Grand Central
8:50 PM - arrival to Grand Central Terminal
Note:Itinerary is subject to change and can be slightly flexible as we find our flow as the group. We’ll leave room for spontaneity while staying on schedule with trains!
Note: On the way down our side quest is to clean up the trail from plastic and trash with an intention to give back to Mother Earth - this part is optional but encouraged!
Note Dress comfortably! Wear hiking shoes or sneakers!
